  1. Hi, im wondering if anyone can help me with this problem. Im fairly sure one side of the mixer tap in the kitchen (hot) needs a new washer. The problem is that I cannot get the tap head off. I have changed washers before and have removed the cap and the screw underneath but the tap head will still not come off. I have tried to ease it off, but it is still stuck. How should I remove it?
  2. Thanks for the welcome:-) Im Kieran and I have been interested in various aspects of D.I.Y for a few yers now, particularly painting and decorating. I like the creative side of things too and use scrap wood for many things. Furniture repair and refurmishment also interests me. Recently I have been teaching myself about other areas such as basic repair of kitchen appliances and the reason I have joined this forum is to get more D.I.Y general knowledge and benifit from the experience and skills of other members.
