  1. Hi We are installing a wood burning stove into an existing fireplace. The fireplace (firechest) we took back to the original brick and then put a layer of concrete over the brick. This is where the wood burning stove will go. The surrounding fireplace chimney / breast we have had boxed off with plasterboard / plaster. However I just have a query whether this is OK from a building regs perspective? We have had two different people telling us different things. Does anyone have any knowledge of this? Thanks in advance
