I would be really grateful if anyone could help me with this problem. The boiler in our house is 20 years old and we don't have a manual. I have found some manuals online but the diagrams showing the bleed valve are somewhat blurred. We ran out of oil last week, had a new delivery and can't restart the boiler because there is air in it. The boiler fires up and then clicks on ... only to switch off again very soon afterwards when it realises that it hasn't got any oil.
