A lot of tradespeople don't do themselves any favours so it's hardly surprising they get a bad press. I've been a successful handyman for many years and even started a trade association (UK Guild of Handymen) in the hope of ridding the profession of the bad perceptions held by many. I'm not sure if the public (consumers) think any differently but since trades people have to buy leads from Rated People who do you think ends up with the cost of this? Rated People? I put myself down as a DIY expert. Hopefully, 30 years' experience and being the most highly-rated UK handyman on Freeindex qualifies me to say this.
