We have just moved in to our first home, and like most new homeowners the wife and I have lots of ideas for our house, so whilst we wait for the money to become available for each new diy venture, i think i will be spending a few hours reading and posting on these forums. For my first post! We have at the entrance to our drive a vintage? style lampost with 3 lamps (think lion witch and wardrobe style), currently the way it was installed by the previous owners was a cable run in the border into the house and just plugged in to a mains socket! I would like to if it is possible do the following.
