JAScarb 0 Posted April 8, 2012 Report Share Posted April 8, 2012 HiI'm not trained in anything buildy (I'm a web developer by profession and a hobby drummer).However, I've got a three storey corner (+ cellar) terraced house built in 1860, in Scarborough, so there's always plenty that needs doing. I've built a kitchen (from bits of wood not cabinets), put in a new floor, built cupboards, and the usual painting and decorating.Coming up: a new ceiling for the top floor with better attic insulation and probably boarding that out. Plastering. New bathroom.I'm the kind of guy who things before he leaps, so I need to know what I'm doing before I start.
