  1. Try a wood chisel to cut the peice out that may be a better option, you can shave off what ever is needed. Dan
  2. hi not my area of expertise but a dremill or similar tool may be good with a cutting type attachment. Regards, Dan
  3. Hi Rich, Thanks, i will be more than willing to help so ask away. Cheers Dan.
  4. Hi i personally dislike decking as it can get very slippery when wet or even damp with tree leaves and sap. Go for a nice natural looking stone slab or even a nice shingle or pubble covering.
  5. Hi fellow DIY-ers, My name is Daniel,I am 24 and I have recently moved into my first house with my Fiance we are getting married in September. I work in a builders merchant and have a very large fondness of cars. My DIY 'adventures' started whilst living at home with my perants and it all started with gardening then painting and decorating, flooring in the loft and then i steped up to the big league and tackled a full bathroom change around removing a bath and then putting in a shower then tiling the walls and floor. Since moving out into a new build decorating and gardening are the norm for me. painting and re-flooring the downstairs toilet and hallway, turf and fencing the garden. a little about our house now, it's semi-famous, if any body watched he Kevin McClouds Grnd Design last year you would have seen it or at least it's sisters and brothers. I live in one of those houses and i was on the show for about 5 seconds or so. My knowledge on drainage related materials is really good so any problems/questions i will answer them for you. Cheers Everyone, Dan Hawkins.
