Hi, I have an external waste pipe which unfortunately runs horizontally without any downward gradient, therefore in the harsh winter it froze up, although it hadnt previous years. I have done a rush job of insulating it using pre-slit pipe lagging, but I couldnt get 40mm, so used the smaller pipe lagging I could get from my local diy store. I have covered it all with duct tape, but this isnt the best job and doesnt look ideal. Can you get larger pipe lagging? 40mm for a waste pipe would be ideal, and is there a better tape or material i could cover it with to keep it in place and not looking too ugly? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
