Am planning to install wet UFH to a new extension. Currently running rads off a combi boiler. How should a zone valve be plumbed in to allow seperate control of UFH.

The total roof measures 3m approx from eaves to apex.

If your building to satisfy the building inspector then you will certainly need to double up the rafters either side of the windows. You will simply need to cut four more and fit along side the first ones. Bolted is usually best.

I would suggest you talk to the building control officer again to get his prefered method.

Am hoping to install a roof drain in a newly covered felt flat roof. this is due to an area that ponds.

I would like to use a normal rubber outlet cut through the deck and seal with cold applied sealer such as liquid rubber.

Anyone done anything similar? Which product, method etc.?
