Is this the actual window itself, or, as you suggest, this is similar to it?

This is more like an office window, and anything you want to fit on-top-of those blinds will have to fit onto the ceiling..

Whats the ceiling like, is it a good solid firm fitting to screw into and hold the weight of curtains or is it just plasterboard between joists?

Yes this is the actual window, and the roof there is weak and not solid!(some kind of a additional fixture) its had some water damage by the looks of it previously! and its pretty weak!...

what would you suggest ... have you ever seen houses with such a style!

can anyone tell me what kind off fixture i will need for my curtain rails. I have attached an image of the window type! I dont have a clue of what to get!

can somebody suggest anything please.

well Just moved into my own place . I am on here to seek some help n guidance on setting up some curtains on a wierd kinda window bay!!
