I would recommend a medium pink or peach color, because if the dark purple and black are too close in shade, they won't stand out from each other. The black wall will look more like it doesn't match instead of looking like it was intentional. However, the pink can provide a nice contrast to the black wall, lightening it up just a little to make it cheerier and more comfortable. Any pink or peach paint would look great – or if you really feel like purple, you might consider a lilac color or something similar.

If your furniture is white, you might want to try curtains with a pattern that's either b&w or multicolored in black, white, and peach/pink. It can be striped or floral, or anything else you like, but that will tie the room together well. Another way to get the black wall and the white furniture to gel with the splash of color is to get some black and white photos of your friends and of nature, and then frame them and hang them on the pink walls. It'll make everything look unified, but it's still fun and not too mature-looking.

I’m a builder...if you live in a normal house..Not listed..Then you do not need permission providing you stick to a few rules ..it’s not built on the front of house .but if built on rear it can be 3 metres deep ..4 meters if a detached property and as wide as property ..the roof must be no more than 4 metres tall ..you do not need building regs either for a conservatory ..but beware ..you must keep your back door ..you cannot create an opening in to the conservatory from the main building without a lockable door ..too easy for burglars ..Your insurance will be void ..and its against building regs

A power washer should remove a lot of it pretty quickly. That is how I remove it from brick patios. I cannot imagine wasting any effort to remove moss from trees.

As to the cause, it is just a situational condition. When the conditions are right for a particular type of moss it grows. I think it procreates through air borne spores. Removing lower branches or thinning the trees will change the conditions in favor of less moss. But not necessarily true as some mosses do well in sunny conditions.

I like to see moss but some types are less attractive than others. I have been told that moss thrives when butter milk is applied.
