All walls have been stripped to the old plaster, the ceilings have been skimmed & the woodwork will be rubbed down very soon. What I'd like your advice on is the following. What brands of paint would you guys recommend & where should I buy it from? The ceilings will be white (matt emulsion), the walls will be magnolia (matt emulsion) & the woodwork will be white satinwood finish. I'm obviously going to avoid chainstore brands (Homebase for example) & presumably need special paint for the kitchen & bathroom. Quite prepared for 3 or 4 coats but would also like to know exactly when to give the walls their final rub down. Thanks in advance, Slime.
