zac123 Posted August 16, 2011 Report Posted August 16, 2011 hi all,first post here.i'm just wondering how companies coat wood with that plastic type of coating. i'm looking at my daughters bed which has a coated head board. the head board has rounded edges and the coating seems to be one complete layer all over - no edges like a veneer would have.ive done some google-in and it seems like this is called powerder coating.i just wanted to get some info from you guys as well.thanks in advancezac
