  1. Hello, We have inherited a wooden cabinet. Unfortunately it is impossible to get upstairs in our house because there is a narrow tight 90 degree turn in our stairs, with a low ceiling. The only solution I can find is to cut the cabinet in half below a drawer line and refix when it is up. In terms of reconnecting the two halves, I thought some form of brass fixing, that way if we move it is easily removed from the house. Has anyone any suggestions on suitable fixings? In my head I am imagining a brass strip similar in appearance to a piano hinge, but without the hinge section! Cheers Kris
  2. Thanks for the welcome. I am 29 from near Faversham. We live in a 130 year old cottage with our pet rabbit, and we are expecting our first child. The age of the house means there is always something to do! Cheers
