  1. The bad news is that unless you can get an exact shade match on your staining then you will be struggling to do anything other than a sand down and re stain. One thing you could try is to give the floor a light sand for the purposes of keying and then put a light covering of varnish stained or other wise and with luck the natural wood ageing will help it to blend back in.
  2. We had a Teak table that had been in the family for ages and it got damaged by a hot metal pot being left on it. We searched for ages for an easy fix, but the only way we got it repaired was by using a furniture repairer who sanded and re-polished it. If you really look you can still see it a bit, but you would need to know where it was. He said there was no quick fix for burns.
