Garage Door nearly closes but then opens again

Hi, My elderly parents have an electric garage door, they have phoned to say that it nearly closes, but, at the last minute opens again.

I will go to them tomorrow and wondered if anyone could help me diagnose the problem please?

They have checked there are no obstructions.
