pitza Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 Is there anything I can do to stop the green bits of scale that keep blocking my Mira sport shower head, I presume that they come from the Mira shower tank so is there any way of descaling it?
Rich Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Hey PitzaSounds like you might possibly be living in a hard water area?Its highly possible that hard water is causing limescale around the shower head only, do you have scale around any other taps in your home or around the edge of the toilet bowl for example?If you want to de-scale it, take the head off and soak it in white vinegar overnight and you should find it sparkling the next morning.
