brown Laminate swollen with white mark

Hi guys,

I hope you are all doing well.

My home laminate has swollen and has a white mark on it as a result of water staying on it for a while .

Here are some pics

any suggestion on how to get rid of it? my laminate is whole piece and not an individual squares which can be replaced

I also have a slightly smaller mark on my kitchen wooden surface, any ideas on how to clean it

Sadly, those marks are stains in the varnished/polished finish. Are you sure those arn't floor boards/planks?

It looks like floorboards that will need re-finishing after sanding, or the easier and cleaner way would be to replace them..

Hi Linux,

You could try staining them followed by a good polishing but I don't think you will cover them completely. It would certainly make them look better though.
