newtodiy1332
I have had a problem will a small wall in my hallway for the last few months. it is damp and is starting to crumble away. Behind the wall is a fully tiled toilet with no obvious leaks from the toilet or pipes. the concrete on the toilet floor is also damp to touch. To the left side of the wall is the garage. The damp is coming up from the floor there is no sign of damp from the ceiling. It is always very cold in that area of the house as the garage and toilet are not heated. Any ideas would be appreciated.
gadget
You could be getting condensation forming on the wc cistern, if the water is cold and the cistern china then it may well be the coldest area in the house and condensation can form in the same way as it does on a cold can of coke on a humid hot day.
