  8. Hi John.. Actually, of all the peeps I know, not oone of them has a tank anymore... A lot of folk ditched the tanks years ago, or moved into places that just didnt have tanks at all.. Obviously some might still have them, but as for the thread starter, we dont know... Maybe he could tell us?
  9. Hi John Whilst your absolutely right, sadly, time is something that the women dont give us... She will tell you when she wants something done by, and if it isnt, you want hear the last of it, so you just do it asap and so your not hearing that nagging over and over.. Its as if women think we are blind and cant think or see what needs doing, or that we have a 24hr memory, so they have to tell us again the next day...
  10. Hi John Damn, thats nuts... Specially having the £10 spend... Surely a system of "Buy anything in store, get your parking free" would be better...
  11. Dear all Apologies for the recent downtime, but trying out a few suggestions from members resulted in exactly what I knew would happen.. Our site was hacked, and used to try to send out over 25,000 spam emails... Along with having over 2500 spammers try to register too... So, after now clearing up all that mess, restoring the website to "Pre-mess" then upgrading everything, and installing a few more anti-spam measures, we will resume as normal in which all new registrations are moderated. This simply means that as soon as you have "Registered", your request to join enters a queue where i
  12. John Seems giving members instant access also opens the floow to spammers too, and even worse, hackers. I did indeed open it for instant access and within 2 weeks the site was hacked, and had over 120 spammers signed up... Not something any admin wants to have to deal with in their spare time, so, back to plan A, all registrations are now moderated again. Its a shame too, but for every 10 genuine members, you can bet your backside there are 200 spammers also wanting to get in, and many hackers. Site has now been updated and secured...
  13. Hiya mate Know its a bit late, but the plumber that did our boiler, he had this tank on a trolley with a pump wired to it that he attached to the outlet that drains down the entire house and he simply popped his hose onto the drain down pipe, switched his motor on and it sucked any water out of the system. There was a bit left in the radiators, but only a tiny amount, mopped up with a towel, but for the most part, gravity should do most of the work if the pipes were laid at angles facing the boiler..
  14. Sounds like the engine doesnt have enough torque.. Soon as you put any strain on it, it cuts out.. Model aircraft engines, 2 stroke, do the same if they dont get enough air or fuel, or both... Its worth at least checking the fuel filter isnt blocked and the carb isnt blocked with sawdust.. Costs nothing to check.. 2 Stokes also benefit from "After-run oil" in the carb when your finished with them too, just to stop then seizing up if not used for a while..
  15. Best thing is, if it stops working, check the water pressure in the bathroom taps to see if its lower than normal...
